Foods That Help You Live Longer

Whole Grains

Whole grains are grains that haven’t had their bran or germ removed, such as wheat, oats, and brown rice. Whole grains provide a great deal of dietary fiber. The American Diabetes Association recommends a high-intake of fiber to reduce the risks for diabetes and heart disease. Fiber also helps regulate bowel movements, which can lessen symptoms of digestive and bladder issues like overactive bladder and irritable bowel syndrome. On top of that, fiber also helps keep you full for longer, which is crucial to prevent overeating and maintaining a proper body weight.
