Foods That Help You Live Longer

Salmon, Tuna and Fatty Fish

Regularly eating certain fish, like salmon and tuna, has long been associated with better heart health. These fish are a rich dietary source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown to help reduce contributing factors to the risk for heart disease, such as blood pressure and cholesterol. Research also suggests that omega-3 fatty acids might reduce the risk for prostate, breast and colon cancer — three of the deadliest cancers in America — and may even help to reduce symptoms in patients with chronic inflammatory diseases like RA and MS. If that wasn’t enough, fatty acid intake has also been linked to improved overall longevity.
