Celebrity Eating Disorders
Pop superstar Lady Gaga shared a somber photo of herself wearing lingerie via her Little Monsters website. The caption read “Bulimia and Anorexia since I was 15.”
"I wanted to be a skinny little ballerina, but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night," Gaga told The Sun.
At a women's conference in California, Gaga admitted that, at one point, she purged so often that her stomach acid was eating away at her vocal chords.
Gaga shared some words of wisdom from Marilyn Monroe via Twitter this year, "To all the girls who think you're ugly because you're not a size 0, you're the beautiful ones. It's society who's ugly.”
