Some foods, such as fresh produce, may help prevent cancer. The National Cancer Institute recommends eating 2 to 6.5 cups of fruits and vegetables every day to reduce the risk of mouth, pharynx, larynx, esophagus, stomach, lung, pancreatic and prostate cancer.
