Parry-Romberg Syndrome

Parry-Romberg syndrome is a rare condition of unknown origin that is characterized by the progressive shrinkage of skin and soft tissue of half of the face. In some cases, this atrophy may affect limbs on the same side of the body. The incidence of this condition is thought to be around 1 in every 700,000 people.
