Hailey-Hailey Disease

Hailey-Hailey disease is a genetic disorder characterized by periodic bouts of blisters around the neck, armpits and genitals. The blisters occur because of a failure of the skin cells to properly stick together during stress from friction, sunlight, heat and sweating. The disease is heritable, meaning it can be passed down to children.
