NBA Stars Who Give Back
In 2004, Lamar Odom founded Cathy’s Kids as a means to streamline all of his charitable efforts. Named after his mother, who died of colon cancer, Cathy’s Kids set out to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children as well as to support cancer research. Outside of his own charity, Odom has helped raise money for Race To Erase MS, which supports research into a cure for multiple sclerosis, and DKMS, which recruits bone marrow donors for leukemia patients.
