How The Flu Can Complicate Your Health
Between 2010 and 2011, nearly 40 percent of flu hospitalizations were among adults with heart disease. Studies also have shown a link between influenza and an increased rate of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke. Talk to your doctor if you are at risk of heart disease.
