How The Flu Can Complicate Your Health
Hepatitis C is a virus that primarily attacks the liver. People with chronic liver disease have a high risk of developing severe complications if they get the flu, according to research by the Health Protection Agency and Health Protection Scotland. Because of the potentially fatal complications, it is important to visit your doctor if you think you’ve been exposed to the hepatitis C virus.
