Common Signs of Multiple Sclerosis

Dizziness and Vertigo in MS

People with MS commonly report becoming dizzy, lightheaded, or off-balance. These symptoms are due to damaged areas in the central nervous system that coordinate visual and spatial information to the brain, which is needed to maintain balance. Most dizziness symptoms respond well to motion sickness medications such as meclizine.
