Common Signs of Multiple Sclerosis
Bladder and Bowel dysfunction occurs in around 80 percent of patients with MS but can be minimized with treatment strategies such as diet and fluid management, medications, and catheterization. Bladder and bowel dysfunction occurs when MS lesions block the transmission of nerve signals that control the bladder and urinary sphincter.
