Alternative Ways to Reduce Stress


We all talk to ourselves, so why not make your self-talk positive? Tell yourself things to help keep you going like “you can do this” or “everything will be okay.” According to the American Heart Association, positive self-talk can change your point of view while negative self-talk only increases stress and negative thoughts. Try to talk to yourself in the car on the way to work or before you go to bed at night. Wherever you feel most comfortable can be a great place for positive self-talk.
