Alternative Ways to Reduce Stress
According to Deepak Chopra, MD, an internal medicine specialist and teacher of meditation and wellbeing techniques, most people aren’t good at multitasking. We can breathe and pump blood to the heart at the same time, but that's about it. The good news is that a good way to reduce stress is to focus on one task at a time. Dr. Chopra recommends dividing your day into the categories family, work, exercise, food and sleep. This may help you stay balanced. Then take on only one task at a time. According to Dr. Chopa, when you start thinking of everything you need accomplish that day at once, it's easy to get overwhelmed and let stress take over.
