9 Easy Stretches to Relieve Back Pain

This simple stretch is a great way to elongate the muscles in your back and relax your mind.

Start: Get on all fours and stretch your arms out in front of you.

  1. Sit back so your glutes rest just above your heels, but they shouldn’t be touching your heels.
  2. Hold for five to 10 deep breaths — or as long as you feel is necessary.
  3. Return to starting position.
  4. Repeat as necessary.
