5 Nicotine Replacement Therapies
Electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) are battery-powered devices that heat a nicotine solution the user inhales. Because they produce an odorless vapor instead of smoke, e-cigs have recently boomed in popularity. But there is quite a bit of controversy surrounding the use of e-cigs as a smoking cessation method. The FDA has stated that research on the safety of e-cigs is lacking and the long-term effects are still unknown, so they are currently not considered an approved type of NRT.
