What You Need to Know About Lupus
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that happens when your immune system attacks healthy cells. In this disease, your body can’t tell the difference between foreign germs and its own healthy tissues, which can lead to damaged organs, joints and skin. That’s because your body attacks healthy tissues, which can lead to pain and inflammation.
