Travel Vaccination FAQ

Gallivanting about North America

If you’re from the US, sticking close to home can have some advantages. Traveling within the country doesn’t require any further vaccinations than the ones you routinely receive. But if you’re taking a trip south of the border, keep up with your regular vaccinations and consider getting vaccinated for hepatitis A and typhoid. Both of these diseases can be contracted through contaminated food or water and, depending on your activities or where you’re staying, you could be at risk. Canada is another low-risk country to visit, requiring only routine vaccinations.
