It’s likely you’re going to have diarrhea at one point or another. It is during this time that you may need need an antidiarrheal, such as Imodium (loperamide) or bismuth subsalicylate (sold as Kaopectate or Pepto-Bismol). There are some situations in which these medications may not be recommended. Always read the package label of the medication before taking a medication.
