Tips to Start the New Year on a High Note
As the new year begins, so do new projects, meetings and obligations. And stress can reach an all-time high as responsibilities begin to stack up. By reducing stress at the beginning of the year, you’ll be ready to tackle whatever work, school or family throws your way. When you begin to feel overwhelmed, find the source of your stress. If you have more than one stressor in your life, consider keeping a journal to better identify your stressors. Then find healthy ways to manage your stress. Deadlines on your mind? Hit the treadmill. Fighting with your significant other? Vent to a friend. There are many ways to handle stress without letting it drive you to your breaking point. And if you reduce your stress now and make a stress management plan for the future, you’ll be more likely to have a relaxed 2016.
