Tips to Lower the Risk of Colorectal Cancer
Because alcohol and tobacco use is associated with a higher risk of colorectal cancer and other gastrointestinal cancers, experts advise limiting alcohol consumption and quitting smoking cigarettes. Talk to your doctor about safe ways to stop smoking or drinking alcohol if you’re finding it difficult.
