Thyroid Disease
While hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism are both thyroid disorders, their symptoms can be polar opposites. Patients with hyperthyroidism may experience hyperactivity, nervousness, anxiety and irritability. On the other hand, patients with hypothyroidism may experience tiredness, sleepiness and listlessness.
