Think Pink!
Staying healthy and active during and after treatment can be an essential part of recovery. So remember to eat healthy and exercise regularly during and after treatment to help keep you strong. Cancer and cancer treatments can affect the way the body tolerates certain foods and uses certain nutrients. While nutrient needs vary from patient to patient, your doctor or cancer care team can help you figure out what’s the best nutrition plan for you. In general, eating a healthy diet during cancer treatment can help you feel better, keep up your strength and energy, maintain weight and body’s nutrients, tolerate treatment-related side effects, lower your risk of infection, and help you to heal and recover faster. If you have any questions or concerns about your diet, talk to your doctor.
