Surprising Side Effects of OTC Meds
Robitussin (dextromethorphan/guaifenesin) is a cough suppressant/expectorant combination that’s sold over-the-counter. If you’re currently taking an MAOI medication for a mental health condition such as depression, you shouldn’t take Robitussin DM, as the combination can be harmful. Talk to your doctor before taking any medication.
