Onions

Onions have much more than taste to offer. These vegetables are packed full of antioxidants called flavonoids, some of which have been shown to block substances that cause inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Flavonoids also have been shown to reduce heart disease risk by lowering LDL cholesterol and to slow cancer progression.
