Summer Survival Guide for Healthy Families

Bee Stings

A few common summer injuries can be treated using at home first aid, and acting quickly can help alleviate further pain or injury. Bee stings must be treated by removing the stinger, but be careful not to squeeze the stinger out, as venom could find a way into your bloodstream. Use tweezers, or scrape it out with a clean edge of a credit card. Be sure to wash the skin properly until it has healed.
