Running Safety Tips

If You’re Injured

In spite of precautions, injuries happen. According to the Cleveland Clinic, roughly 60 percent of runners experience an injury severe enough to bench them for a bit. If you do get injured, it’s important to stop running immediately and see a doctor. Don’t run again until you’re completely healed and you get an “okay” from your doctor. Your doctor may recommend switching for a time to a low-impact workout like swimming, so that you don’t aggravate the injury further.
