NBA Stars Who Give Back
As the son of a former pro basketball player and head coach, Kobe Bryant began playing basketball when he was only 3 years old. By the time he joined the NBA in 1996, Bryant was still young enough that his parents had to cosign his contract. Since then, he has embarked on a historic NBA career, earning five championships with the LA Lakers and a variety of personal awards.
