Paul McCartney, English singer-songwriter and one of the founding members of The Beatles, is no stranger to charity. McCartney’s wife passed away in 1998 from breast cancer, and in 2000, he released an album honoring his wife, with the proceeds going to the Garland Appeal, a fund to help cancer patients.
