Keeping Kids Healthy During the School Year
While you’re packing your children a balanced lunch, make sure they eat something before they catch the bus. According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, breakfast contributes to an overall better student, with benefits like more energy, better focus, higher grades and a healthier weight. Although weekday mornings can seem like a hectic juggling act, a good meal to start the day can provide you both with a little bit of needed balance.
