How to Keep Pets Safe in the Summer
According to the Humane Society, pets may seem OK on the outside, but they could be burning up on the inside. Try to cool your pet down with a nice cold dog treat or ice pop. There are many popular frozen dog treat recipes out there, such as yogurt and peanut butter pops. An ice water wrap or vest may also help keep pets cool. Once these products are soaked in cold water, they usually stay cool for a couple of days. If all else fails, try a bath to give your animal a cool-down.
