Make sure you substitute fried tortilla chips with the reduced sodium version of baked tortilla chips. On the flip side, studies have found that people who think they are eating a healthier version of something tend to eat more of it. This can lead to overeating, and taking in a lot more calories, salt or sugar than you normally would. So be careful not to trick yourself into overconsumption and remember portion control.
