Healthy Ways to Celebrate Father’s Day
For the fitness loving dad, a family run or bike ride could be a great way to spend the morning, afternoon or evening. Both running and biking are great heart healthy exercises. Biking is great for older adults — as it has a lower impact on the body and joints — and weight-bearing exercises, such as running, can help promote bone health. Head out with just your family or coordinate with some friends — either way, riding or running can be just what dad needs to blow off steam, get a good workout in and bond with you!
