You’re Too Thin

Being overweight brings a host of physical health problems, but being underweight in middle adulthood may hold some mental health problems. A recent study found that being underweight was tied to a higher risk of dementia later on. Dementia is a condition marked by a loss of cognitive ability (in functions like language, memory, attention and problem-solving) beyond what’s considered to be normal aging. Talk to your doctor about how you can reach or maintain a healthy weight.
