Habits That Harm Your Brain
Your diet fuels your body, and a poor diet can do more than affect your weight. Eating a healthy, well-balanced diet is important to your overall physical and mental health. Nutrients can directly affect your brain and have long-term effects on brain function. Carbohydrates are your body’s main energy source, so it’s important to eat enough — and the right types — of carbohydrates to fuel your brain. Just like your body, your brain needs energy to function.
