Foods That Help You Live Longer

Dark Chocolate

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Luckily, there is mounting evidence that flavonoid-rich dark chocolate (over 60 percent cocoa) may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. One study found that patients who ate the most chocolate had a 37 percent reduction in cardiovascular disease and a 29 percent reduction in stroke risk. While eating too many sweets can harm your health, it appears that moderately indulging in antioxidant-rich dark chocolate can be a tasty way to boost your health.
