Eat Like an Athlete
Training can only take your body so far. Diet is the other piece of the puzzle. For athletes on the go, it can be hard not to turn to fast food when racing to a marathon, game or practice. While it’s important to eat before exercising, some foods can slow you down. If you can’t avoid grabbing something quick, make sure to get the healthiest option available. Look for items with lean protein and limited fat content.
