Diagnosed with Diabetes — Now What?
- Avoid walking barefoot.
- You can hurt your feet and not know it.
- Always check your shoes before putting them on as there may be objects that can hurt your feet.
- Keep the skin of your feet smooth and soft.
- Apply lotion on the top and bottom of the feet.
- Avoid applying lotion in between the toes. This is because wetness in between the toes can result in fungal infections.
These are only a few tips. Speak to your doctor about more tips to keep your feet healthy.
