Dangers of Drinking Too Much Alcohol
Drinking moderate amounts of alcohol is not associated with an increased risk of seizures, but binge drinking and alcohol withdrawal are a different story. As alcohol is processed and leaves the body, the risk of seizure increases and can even occur in people who do not have a history of epilepsy.
