Coping with Overactive Bladder

Surgery

Surgical options are available for OAB, but these options are reserved for patients with severe symptoms or for those who don’t respond well to other treatments. The goal of these surgeries is to improve the bladder’s storing ability and reduce pressure. Unfortunately, they typically do not relieve bladder pain. If all other treatments fail, discuss these options with your doctor to determine if they are right for you.
