Contact Lens Care
Unfortunately, contacts aren’t perfect and eye infections can happen. This is because contact lenses reduce the amount of oxygen that reaches the cornea in the eye. It’s important to use proper hygiene when using contact lenses, in order to reduce this risk risk. Here are some tips to keep contact lenses clean:
Wash, rinse and dry your hands thoroughly before handling your contact lenses
Remove your contacts before you go to sleep
Don't moisten your lenses with saliva or anything besides contact lens solution
Replace your contact lenses and cases as recommended
If your vision becomes blurry or you experience eye pain, sensitivity to light or other problems, remove your contact lenses and see your doctor right away.
