Common Symptoms of Childhood Cancer
Unfortunately, babies can be born with cancer or may develop it as infants. The primary type of cancer for this age group is called neuroblastoma, which begins in the nerve cells and develops before a child is 3-years-old. Symptoms of neuroblastoma can include a swollen belly, irritability, poor weight gain. fever and vomiting.
