Common Signs of Multiple Sclerosis

Cognitive Dysfunction in MS

Cognition is a range of high level brain functions, including learning and remembering information, organizing, planning, problem-solving, focusing, understanding language, perception, and calculations. People with MS sometimes have difficulties with only one or several cognitive functions. In most cases, certain functions like general intellect, long-term memory, conversational skill, and reading comprehension are not affected. Talk to your doctor if you have MS and are experiencing cognitive difficulties.
