Exercising Too Much

No pain, no gain! Right? Well, it’s not always the case that working out will cure your weight frustrations. Exercise is crucial to maintaining good health and can decrease the risk of getting diabetes, cancer and heart disease, among other conditions; however, exercising too much may lead to negative outcomes. Exercise puts stress on the body, and repetitive stress can lead to minor injuries that would normally heal when the body has enough rest. But if you exercise too frequently, you never give your body that chance to rest and heal itself, and therefore are increasing your risk of more serious injuries. Talk to your doctor to determine a safe level of exercise for you.
