Common Dieting Mistakes

Skipping Meals

Some people think that skipping meals is the answer to weight loss. However, the opposite is true, as skipping meals can be detrimental to one’s health. According to some studies, there is a link between skipping breakfast and being overweight. Skipping meals can cause a person to feel more hungry and overeat at the next meal. Overeating can make health problems worse, especially if you have diabetes. A better way to help stabilize the metabolism, control hunger and avoid overeating is to eat four to five smaller meals a day.
