Childproofing Your Home
Window guards and safety netting are important tools to prevent accidental falls from windows and balconies. Double-check that they are properly installed and secured. If you install window guards, make sure that each room has at least one window that can be easily used to escape in an emergency situation. In addition, installing cordless blinds is highly recommended. Children can become entangled in the cords, which can result in strangulation.
