Brain Food: What to Avoid
In this day and age, it seems like the search is always on for the next “superfood.” Companies regularly advertise the latest superfood discovery — whether it’s an exotic berry, a type of nut or a new leafy green — touting its uncanny impact on energy levels or memory, or claiming that it packs an antioxidant punch. But it’s not often that you hear about foods that hurt, rather than help you. With new diets focused on a healthy body, a healthy mind often takes a backseat.
