Benefits of Exercise for People with Long Term Conditions
It is common for those with bipolar disorder to lead a sedentary lifestyle during periods of depression. But this inactivity can exacerbate symptoms of depression. Research suggests that regular exercise may shorten the duration of these depressive cycles and help curb symptoms of depression.
