Lowers Risk for Certain Cancers

Compounds in green tea may reduce the risk of several forms of cancer, including lung, pancreatic and breast cancer. Researchers noted a 12 percent reduction in breast cancer risk in one study. In another study, men who drank the most tea were 37 percent less likely to develop pancreatic cancer.
