Bad Habits to Drop Before You Turn 30
Only going to see your doctor when something is up just won’t cut in your 30s. The US National Library of Medicine (NLM) recommends getting a blood pressure screening every two years. If you already have diabetes, heart disease or kidney problems, your blood pressure should be checked more often. The NLM also recommends regular cholesterol screenings. If your body mass index (BMI) is over 25, or your blood pressure is above 135/80 mmHg, screening for diabetes is also recommended. Remember to keep up with immunizations, too.
