Belly Dancing

Belly dancing has been around for centuries, but it can also be a great workout! The dance emanates fluid motion from the torso and focuses on highlighting different parts of the body. But belly dancers aren't just wiggling and jiggling their hips! They're getting a workout that sculpts the muscles of the core — even the hard-to-target abdominals, according to Rania Androniki Bossonis, author of Belly Dancing for Fitness. While it's not mandatory, belly dancing is typically done barefoot. So, kick off your shoes, and start shimmying your way to better health!
